Dr. Lori Dewald has been a university faculty member for 29 years teaching in the health sciences both in the face-to-face and online settings. She has given over 160 invited national conference presentations and has had over 45 peer reviewed research publications. Dr. Dewald is involved in many national committees in the American College Health Association (ACHA), the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), and the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE). She was chosen for induction as a fellow in the American Association for Health Education in 2009. She received the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer (MDAT) award from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association in 2011. In May 2019, The American College Health Association awarded Lori with the ACHA’s Best Practice in Administration Award.
