About Us
The Rollins School of Public Health's distance learning Executive Master of Public Health program (EMPH) offers a master's-level public health degree for busy working professionals without sacrificing the community and camaraderie you get in a residential program. EMPH participants—from both the public and private sectors—earn the same MPH degree as traditional students, but in a hybrid format that combines two on-campus sessions each semester with interactive online coursework.
Students are admitted only in the fall semester, and are required to have a minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience. This 42-credit-hour degree program can be completed in two years (six semesters, completing three courses each semester) or three years (nine semesters, completing two courses each semester). The EMPH program is fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
